Merry Christmas

I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas. Hopefully everyone got everything they wanted whatever it may be. Spend time with your family and enjoy. Christmas is only once a year so spend is wisely. Merry Christmas to everyone and let this holiday season be on the the best. Below are a few Christmas poems to brighten your day.
XO,
G

Let Every Day Be Christmas

-- Short Christmas Poems --

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf. The good you do for others is good you do yourself.

There's More to Christmas

-- Short Christmas Poems --

There's More to Christmas...
There's more, much more to Christmas
Than candle-light and cheer;
It's the spirit of sweet friendship
That brightens all the year;
It's thoughtfulness and kindness,
It's hope reborn again,
For peace, for understanding
And for goodwill to men!

A Christmas Tree

-- Short Christmas Poems --

One little star on the top of the tree,
Two little presents underneath for me,
Three silver ropes twisted around the tree,
Four colored lights shining prettily,
Five shining balls flowing silvery.
Oh, what a sight for use to see!

Santa

-- Short Christmas Poems --

Two merry blue eyes
A very little nose
A long snowy beard
And cheeks like a rose
A round chubby man
A big bulging pack
Hurrah for Old Santa
We're glad he's come back!

Christmas Secrets

-- Short Christmas Poems --

I know so many secrets
Such secrets full of fun;
But if you hear my secrets,
Please don't tell anyone.
Here are some lights that twinkle,
Here is an ornament.
Here is a great big present
From Grandpa it was sent.
And on the very tip-tip top,
An angel you can see,
What is the secret? Can't you tell?
Why, it's a Christmas tree!

SO SORRY :(

SO sorry I have not updated lately. Finals just ended and with the holidays rolling around I have been running around shopping. Some of the things I love around the holiday times are the department stores and the way the city's are decorated. Hope you enjoy the holidays where ever you may be....snow? sunshine? rain? Have fun!

The Rain

Ahhh the rain.... don't you just love the way it pitter patters on your roof when you are going to sleep. Or when cars drive by you can hear the water being slipished and splashed around. Well.... I recommend getting those umbrellas out today and playing in the rain because it is a wet one today and in honor of the rainy day here are some pictures of people just simply playing in the rain. And some great umbrellas!!! :) Hope you enjoy the rain as much as I do.

Keep raining (please?)

FINALS!!!!

Finals are coming up and this weeks is the time to prepare. Things are very hectic and as if nothing could get worse my birthday is around the corner!!!! Studying for finals isn't what I plan to be doing on my birthday night. But like the old saying goes I guess you have to take one for the team!! Wish me luck and all of you out there who are stressed about finals don't stress too much because think of it this way once we are done we have a whole two weeks of sleeping in, hanging out with family, and celebrating the holidays with presents and excellent food :)

Tip of the Day

Don't waste your time with people you don't want to be with. Surround your self with the ones who make you laugh and are always there for you through the toughest times. Those are your true friends :) Try to find your true friends through the scattered and hazy packs of the fake ones. Keep trying until you know that you are happy.

Winter Time

One thing you should know about me is my love for reading and writing. In my free time I love to cuddle up with a good book and read around the fire. Winter time is the best time for reading and writing. All the decorations and family gatherings should give you new writing topics and plenty of time to read. Take advantage of the holidays and being with your family. Spend time with those you love and cherish the most.
